DEMO ON Factory Preset: Demonstrates certain functions automatically.
MODE When DEMO MODE is set to ON and you have exited all
menus, the demonstration starts. Operating the Power zoom
lever during the demonstration stops the demonstration
temporarily. If the Power zoom lever is not moved for more
than 1 minute after that, the demonstration will resume.
To cancel the demo mode, rotate the Power switch to
M
(manual record) and press in the MENU dial while the demo
is in progress. Rotate the MENU dial to highlight SYSTEM.
Press in the MENU dial to select it. (The System Menu
appears.) Rotate the MENU dial to highlight DEMO MODE.
Then press in the MENU dial to select it. Rotate the MENU dial
to highlight OFF. Then press in the MENU dial again to
select it.
Note: When a tape is loaded in the camcorder, the
demonstration is not available.
OFF Automatic demonstration will not take place.
CAM CANCEL Factory Preset: Does not reset all settings to the factory presets.
RESET
EXECUTE Reset all settings to the factory presets.
Display Menu
ON LCD Displays most information from the camcorder’s display on the
SCREEN LCD monitor. The only info to be displayed on a connected TV
is the date, time, and time code.
LCD/TV Factory Preset: Displays the information from the camcorder’s
display on both the LCD monitor and a connected TV.
DATE/ OFF The date/time does not appear.
TIME
AUTO Factory Preset: Displays the date/time for approx. 5 seconds in
the following cases:
When the Power dial is set from OFF to
A
or
M
.
• When video playback starts. The camcorder displays the
date/time when scenes are recorded.
• When the date is changed during video playback.
ON The date/time is always displayed.
